Astronomy Project
Each group will:
- be assigned a topic.
- make a poster or power point presentation (minimum 7
slides).
- research their assigned topic.
- include information and images that will describe the
topic.
- turn in poster or power point on Monday, Feb. 27th.
- create a 5 question multiple choice quiz about their
topic (include the answer key).
- make a bibliography of any books, websites, or any
references used to obtain information.
- NOT commit plagiarism (see below).
This will be worth a test grade and each group will be
graded on:
- effort.
- creativity.
- ability to contribute to your group.
- content of your power point or poster.

- The words on the poster or the text in the power point
must be written by the students in their own words. Students are not allowed
to copy and paste information from a website. The words used in this project
must come from what the students have learned from their research.
- Students are responsible for their own materials to
construct the poster.
- Students will not be able to print images from school.
- Those students who are creating a power point can
e-mail their power points to my e-mail or save it on their Morton server
student folder.
