Vocabulary Story

Use all of your vocabulary words in an original story.  Be sure to underline each word for your audience.

Word Art

Draw the word in a way that shows its definition.  The word’s letters must be part of the drawing.

Synonyms and Antonyms

Write one synonym and one antonym for each word in the list.

Flashcards/Flipchart

Write each word and each definition on a piece of paper to use as flashcards, or cut half a paper into 12 flippable parts

Triangles

Write sentences for that includes two words of a three-word grouping that you have made.

Categories

Divide vocabulary words into groups of at least three based on something that they have in common

Verbal Visuals

Create a four box that includes a word, definition, sentence and a picture for each word in the list.

Spiders

For each vocabulary word, list 8 words that can be associated with that word.
