WEEKLY ASSIGNMENTS

April 7th:  Finish Chapter 15 and begin Chapter 16.  Page #489, 1-5 is due on Wednesday/Thursday.  We will take notes over the Red Scare and McCarthyism, and the Korean Conflict.  In groups, students will be assigned a section of Chapter 16 and teach it to the rest of the class.

April 14th:  Test on Chapters 15 & 16.  Begin our unit on the 1960s (Chapter 17& 18).  Looking ahead to KIRIS testing:  April 22-25th.  Chapter 16 will be presented by the students.  The major homework for this week is to read Chapters 15-18.  These are important chapters to really concentrate on considering KIRIS testing begins April 22.

April 21:  This is testing week.  There will be no major projects are homework given.  During the "off blocks" when you do not have testing please bring a book to read or something to do to occupy your time.  Bring your US History book so you can read it, too!!

I feel the need to write this disclaimer concerning my website.  I make every effort to keep it up to date and accurate.  But it cannot take the place of listening in class and keeping up with homework assignments, test dates, etc.  Sometimes those change due to unforeseen circumstances and I may not get my website adjusted.  Again, I will make every effort to keep this site accurate, but please remember it is your responsibility to listen in class and to look on the white marker board for homework assignments and test dates.  Thanks.
