This page will guide you in finding many other links that our class has found to be beneficial to our journey in learning about plants.  The students reviewed each site and wrote a brief overview of the site.  Simply click on the green words to visit these sites.

 

Enature.com is a good website to go to because it tells about plants and other stuff like spiders and flowers or other insects.  It tells you information like how plants grow.  It also tells you the lifecycle of a plant.  It tells you what it eats or drinks.  For example, it sucks up water with its roots.  The stem takes the water through it up to the flower.

 

 

This web site has great pictures.  This web site has all the information you need to know about different types of plants.  You click on the plants name, and it takes you to a page with information about that plant.  For example, it shows the crabgrass when it flowers, how tall it is, and all sorts of other things. 

 

This web site has plants and flowers.  There is lots of information on this page.  This web site tells you what family each plant comes from.

 

I like the website because it helps you make things at your house.  You can make a scarecrow out of cardboard and other things or utensils.  It shows you how to plant garlic cloves.  It shows you how to make a plant journal.

 

This has a plant answer machine.  It has really cool sites.  It is the best website.  You can search for facts about plants.  You can have your questions answered about plants.

 

This website will tell you information about plants.  You have to click a plant to get information about that specific plant.  This site has excellent pictures of each plant.  We think it is a very good website.

 

This plant site has good information like telling you how to plant a good garden and how to keep plants healthy. It tells you how to plan a garden. It also tells a little about the soil.  It tells you all the steps to take in planting a plant in a garden.

 

This website has so much good information like how to start a school garden, and those schools that have pretty gardens. It even has pictures of the kids planting their plants. I think it will look good.
