Welcome to the home page of Sra. Aparicio and Miss Verax's Third Grade Classes at Maxwell Escuela de Inmersión en Español.

This site is to help keep parents and students informed about what is happening in our classroom and in our school.  Please use the links above to navigate to the major areas of our site.  I hope you find it helpful.

If you are like to volunteer for TILES, please make sure you are on the approved volunteer list.  If you are not sure, e-mail Sra. Apricio or Miss Verax so they can check.  If you have not filled out the online form, please visit the site below.

News You Can Use

 

• Snacks in the classroom

• Please feel free to send/bring snacks or treats for your child's class, but remember they must be store-bought/pre-packaged items. No homemade goodies are allowed.
   

• Please check to see if your snack contains any type of peanut, or peanut oil and note that on the box/container.

• Please remember to pay for your planner ($4.50).
   

• Please encourage your child to check-out Spanish books from Sra. Aparicio's room or from the library to read at home.  
   

• Parents are welcome to come and help out during Math TILES on Fridays from 8:00 - 8:45. We will start Math Tiles the first Friday in September.  We will spend the first half explaining/practicing TILES procedures, then students will be allowed to work independently.
