Dana Boarman     

              Hello. I'm Mrs. Boarman, a sixth grade Social Studies teacher and chairperson of the Social Studies department.  It is also my pleasure to serve on Morton's SBDM and Student Assistance Team. I graduated from the University of kentucky with a BA in History and  a MA in Secondary Education.  As a  Morton graduate, it is particularly meaningful to teach in a school with such rich tradition and history. 

        In Sixth Grade Social Studies, the area of study is world cultures with an emphasis on geography, culture, history, government and economy.   my goal  is to increase the student's understanding of the world and their place within it.
