I have had many parents ask about private lessons, and so I am compiling a list of people who teach private lessons and a contact number or email address.   This is an ongoing process, and so if you could recommend anyone that teaches private lessons and you please email me and let me know their name, what they teach and their phone or email address!!

We have several opportunities throughout the year to enrich our children in the arts and humanities.  Please take a few moments to log on to the sites below to see what is going on our community.   

Central Music Academy

Central Music Academy is dedicated to assuring that all children regardless of socioeconomic status, will have the opportunity to have a positive music experience.  Private lessons are available for all students.  

    Calvary Baptist Church Children's Choir

Calvary Baptist Church is located downtown on high street and offers music both vocal and instrumental throughout the year on Wednesday nights.  They are starting a program for other creative arts throughout the year as well as a creative arts camp in the summer.  You do not have to be a member of the church, all children are welcome and all programs offered throughout the school year are free!!  If you have any questions please feel free to contact Beth Isaacs at: beth@calvarybaptistchurch.com

Lexington Singers Children's Choir

The Lexington singers are starting a children's chorus 1st through 8th grade.  This is an incredible opportunity unique to our community.  If you would like more information, please email them at the following email address below.

 

Lexington's Children's Theatre

The Lexington's Children's theatre offers a wide variety of classes for our young creative minds.  This is a wonderful resource for activities for the summer as well as throughout the year!

Christ Church Cathedral Choirs for Children

Christ Church (Episcopal) Cathedral Choir of Men & Boys and Christ Church Cathedral Girls Choir is currently looking for singers ages 8 and up. You do not have to be a member of this church in order to participate in this program (one of our past Head Choristers was Jewish and we currently have one chorister who is Muslim) nor will you be solicited to become a member!
