Team Supply List to be given to 1st period teacher:  

  • 2 boxes of Kleenex tissues > Trust us, they will go through every box.
  • 2 packages of #2 pencils >  to be used by everyone just in case they forget their pencils which never happens :)
  • 2 bottles of Antibacterial Wipes for Cleaning desks (Clorox prefered) > we try to cut done of germs.
  • 1 package of dry erase markers > Assorted Expo preferred, larger size > because we all have dry erase boards that will be full of great info!
  • 1 package of colored pencils (Crayola preferred) > to be use be all students in class.
  • 3 packeges of wide ruled paper > you would be surprised about how quickly students say "I don't have paper."
  • 1 package of graphing paper > to use in Math or Algebra.
  • 1 bottle of glue or gluesticks

 

Individual Materials Needed:  

Coach Sherrard:   World Geography

  • One Folder with clamps >  this will be you Geography Folder that will come to class everyday.
  • One Spiral or composition folder >  this will stay in class (never to leave) and will be used for bellringers (starter questions).
  • Colored pencils to keep at homeStudents will label and color many continental maps at the beginning of each unit.  Students must have colored pencils at home to complete the maps.   Students will test over the location of every country on every continent. 
  • World Atlas (not a road atlas) or internet access at homeStudents will need access to maps in order to complete assignments and in order to study for tests. 

Donna Clements and Deedra Murray:   Language Arts

  • 90 page spiral notebook
  • One package of sheet protectors
  • Binder with 5 dividers
  • Colored pencils
  • 3 way display board - to be used for summer reading project and science fair.
  • Extra items to donate:  Construction paper, Post-It notes, Old magazines, Poster paints, Water colors.

Kathy Jackson: Science

  • 25 cents for color coded folder that stays in the classroom and is used as a journal and storage for all graded papers.  This folder is a portion of your total grade.  The folder will cost 50 cents after the second week of school.
  • One box of colored pencils.  We do not use crayons or markers.
  • One pack of wider ruled paper for the journal.
  • One time lab fee of $5.  This covers the use of consumable and non-consumable science equipment.

Alex Butler:  Math

  • 2 black dry erase markers
