Puma Expectations

An expectation destines us to be who we are. High expectations destine us to be the very best we can be, while low expectations will do the opposite. As members of the  Puma team, you are destined to be punctual, on task, respectful to yourself and others, and prepared to learn. You're destined to show acts of kindness and charity towards others, at all times. Lastly, you are destined to be a success in school, at home, or in whatever capacity you choose.   

           Puma Team Expectations

         Be punctual

•             Show up to class on time
•             If late, obtain a note excusing your tardy

            Be on task

•             Follow the directions of all staff members
•             Focus on the topic of the day
•             Keep hands, feet, and objects to self
•             Use an appropriate voice level
•             Use learning material appropriately
•             Follow all school rules

            Be respectful

•             Respect yourself and others
•             Use language appropriate for school
•             Speak to others with an appropriate voice level
•             Follow staff directions the first time given

              Be prepared

•            Bring learning materials to class

  •  Leave purses, backpacks, and other bags in a locker

•             Keep gum, candy, and food in containers.

•             Keep cell phones and all electrical devices in locker

General Hallway Rules

Dismissal between classes

•             Set the classroom up for the next class

•             Line up in a single line

•             Exit the classroom when teacher gives you permission

•             Walk on the right hand side of the hallway, at all times

•             Use an appropriate voice level 1 or 2

•             Be seated and ready to work before the bell rings
