Welcome
to a new school Year!
My Name is Becky Wood. I have one daughter
named Ellen and she is 11 years old. This is my
fourth
year living in Lexington and my third year
teaching at Dixie. I am so excited to be
your child's teacher!
I am originally from Ohio where I earned my
Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Early
Childhood education. My passion is working
with young children who are emerging as readers
and writers.
Kindergarten is such a pivotal time in your
child's life...you will be amazed as you watch
your child learn and grow into a reader and
writer. It is truly an awesome
transformation! I feel so honored to be a
part of that process.
