I am thankful for all of you and all of my wonderful students!! 12/4 Boyle County District Leadership visit Immersion classes to observe!! 12/8 Book Fair and Music Performance 12/17 The Nutcracker Ballet Quick Notes ***Remember to return the coupon books or send in$20 for them! Remember to check the webpage and its various links for new kids games!!! I added a fun one using the United State map and a great one to practice typing! *It’s kid-friendly!! Every K, 1, and 2 class will be performing at the Dec. 8th program. Every 3, 4, and 5 class will perform on the 10th. The programs begin at 7:00 p.m. J There will also be the book fair at school that night! Please encourage the kids to check out at least one “easy” book from the library each week. Also, check out the list of other chapter books they might like besides Junie B. The list is on the webpage!! Vocabulary: No vocabulary or spelling words in English or Spanish next week! Enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday and spend time relaxing, playing, and having family fun time!!!! Reading: We will finish up –r blends next week! Please read over the flip books the kids bring home each day and keep for “flashcard” practice! This will help them to remember and repeat the pattern!!! Beginning -r blends this week. Examples are: brand, crab, drum, frog, grapes, prize, tree, etc. Try to point them out while reading together! Social Studies Focus: Next week we will be reading a few Thanksgiving themed books, having our sequencing “feast”, and creating some crafts! The kids should also be bringing home their Thanksgiving Memory game. today. Feel free to finish up and play over the weekend. No need to return these as homework…just keep for fun! ***Thank you for all of the help in preparing for the feast!!! We could NOT do this without you! Please remind me to take pictures that day!!!
