Dear Families,
On May 30th, C complex will be
holding its annual spring party and 3rd
grade celebration. Our theme for this spring
party will be a Medieval Festival. The boys will
be designing their own sword and shield. The
girls will be designing their own damsel hat and
shield. After our spring party, 3rd
grade boys and girls will be knighted and
crowned. To be able to create these marvelous
medieval artifacts we need a little help from
you. We are in need of full sheets of poster
board and rolls of aluminum foil. The
poster board will be used to create the shields
and the aluminum foil will be used to create the
swords.
As mentioned before these activities will
take place on Friday, May 30th (the
last day of school). The Medieval Festival will
begin at 9:00 and last until 10:00. The 3rd
grade celebration will begin right after at
10:00 and last until 10:45. During the 3rd
grade celebration, the 3rd graders
will be knighted or crowned. The 2nd
graders will get to participate too by singing a
farewell song to their C complex friends. After
this the children will be able to enjoy a
musical montage of their year in C complex.
This is such an exciting day for the
children, and one that they have been looking
forward to all year! We invite you all to join
us for our Medieval Festival and 3rd
grade celebration!
Sincerely,
C complex Teachers
