Each week students receive a homework packet including four pages each of reading, math, and spelling.  Packets are to be returned the following Friday.  We recommend completing one page of math, reading, and spelling each night.  This will allow your child to practice the skills they are working on at school a little bit each day.  Each night students need to be reading for at least twenty minutes.  The twenty minutes can be included in the time they spend on their reading comprehension.  Please keep me informed as to how your child is handling the amount of homework they are asked to complete.  We will make adjustments as necessary to ensure that students are working at their level in order to make the most of their homework.
