Dear Parents & Students,
I am so excited about our 2011-2012 school year! We have a wonderful class and many fun activities planned this year. I am eager to "Watch us shine"!
Fun, hands-on learning will provide each child to learn in all academic areas. I am a strong believer in a well-balanced approach for literacy and learning. We will do whole group, small group, and individual lessons on a daily basis. This includes phonics, phonemic awareness, comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency in reading.
