This unit deals
the trends in properties that the structure of the periodic table
establishes. The trends that we will study can be used to predict the
properties of individual elements based on their position on the Periodic Table,
such as atomic radius, electronegativity, electroaffinity, etc.
What I've done on
this page is linked the topics to the actual PowerPoint Presentation that I used
in
class. To access them just click on the link to the topic and follow the
directions to access the presentations. If you don't have PowerPoint on
your computer you need to download the PowerPoint Viewer that is available for
free through Microsoft Office.
