Homework:

   All students have received a red folder for homework.  Most students have sight vocabulary lists (revised weekly).  Please have your student practice reading the words every day.  Your child also needs to be able to use the word correctly in a sentence.  We review the words on a daily basis to check their progress.  Thank you for your help--they will progress at a faster rate by practicing at home and at school!!

Reading is a priority!!

Please read with or to your child every day, if possible, or at least 5 days a week, for 10 to 15 minutes.  Children learn new vocabulary even when hearing books they have read or heard a thousand times!
