Movin’ Down to Texas!

                “Yea James got a job in Texas. We have to move there. We will miss you all. But we are having a get together on Monday.”  Said the voice on the answering machine. This is what we had to come home to after the best day ever!!  We had gone to Louisville and went to both of the malls! It WAS the best day ever. But then we got that call. Oh and the thing that makes it even worse was that people that are moving to Texas is my best friend Trevor, my brother’s best friend Allison, and my other brothers best friend Blain. Well those are the kid’s friends. Then all of the adults were friends.

 

 It really was the worst news ever. We did not get the news till Sunday night so we called and asked if we should bring anything. They said that they did not have any deserts, and we are going to bring them presents because they were leaving the day after. My mom said that we got to go down there every spring break and then they would come up for the summer and winter break. This sort of made me a little happier but I was still sad.

 

            The night before the get together we had to go to bed at 9:00 so we could get up at 8:00 and go to the store to get the pie brownies and all of the presents. I was very tired when I woke up. I did not want to go to their house because it felt like it was going to be the last time I ever saw all of them but then again I wanted to go so I could see them for the last time. Well we finally arrived and I felt better than I thought I would. I walked in to the house and I could not believe my eyes this was all fake.

 

            Come to find out the whole time I was sad about this it was my b-day and this was my surprise party, which was why we had to go get the presents. I was actually kind of mad, but not for long. This was the best party ever! It was actually the party that I turned 10 and I was sooooo happy to be in the double digits’ that I stated dancing. (when I remembered it was my birthday)
