2………………………………………………..
Chapter
1………...........................................................awakening
“Then
bring him back”
Crom
heard a loud lightning like sound to his right as his eyes popped open absorbing
more light then they could handle. He blinked rapidly so that his eyes could get
used to the sudden light that was in this whole new world. “Ugh…… where am I”
Crom mumbled quietly as his head ached from the wrench that smacked him but not
really expecting an answer but shocked when he got one…. Literally. “UUUUUUUGGGGGHHHHHHAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!”
Crom SCREAMED as 500 volts of electricity ran through his veins followed by a
low voice that seemed distinctly familiar but he couldn’t put his tongue on it
exactly on who it was. “Well here we are again brother, I in control and you
stuck between a rock and a hard place.” Joe said calmly to Crom from his left.
“B-brother…. Is that……you……….why………” Crom choked barley finding enough
strength to speak. “I told you, I wasn’t going to help you in doing this and
decided to teach you what happens when you disobey the law….” Joe responded
placing the shocker button down on a table next to him. “But this time you don’t
escape….”
Chapter
2………………………………….……Inescapable?
Crom Ross strained against the steel straps that were holding him down
hoping that possible they would break some how but of course, they didn’t. Crom
sighed knowing they wouldn’t break asking himself why he had been so clumsy as
to just waltz in the control room and expect them to not resist against him
taking control. He breathed in deep and cleared his mind as Joe walked out of
the room satisfied. Crom looked around looking for something that could help him
get out of this seemingly inescapable steel trap. How ever the only things that
he could see were a control panel, the operating table he was on, the shocker
button and dial on a table, and a computer screen not too far from Crom’s face.
Crom thought, then an idea hit him, he gathered all the water in his
mouth and spit on the control panel. The water on the control panel caused it to
spark multiple times as Crom could fell his boundaries opening centimeter by
centimeter. He spat on the controls for a second time and the steel cufflinks on
his hands and feet opened immediately. Crom fell to the ground flat on his
stomach and let his energy recover before he got up. He went to the door and
tried to open the slid steel door but apparently he needed to enter a password
on the control panel in order to get through…. Good luck doing that at this
point.
Crom pondered for an idea to get through. If he waited then he formed
a plan, he ran to the table and took the shocker and tore the shockers off the
operating table he had just been on and threw it at the door. He set the
shocker’s dial to the max shocking capacity… 700 volts of pure electricity. The
shocker turned yellow and a wave of electricity caked the door and Crom could
hear a pack of screams behind the door. The door started to melt under the
electric shock and then Crom pressed the button multiple times in which like
clock work the pulses of electricity merged with the door and whatever was
behind it and finally the door simply turned into a puddle of molten steel. Crom
stared down the long hallway beyond the once door.
Fried skeletons littered the ground behind the puddle of steel along
with several other puddles of steel. Crom’s heart sank as he walked carefully
over and pass the graveyard of steel and bones nearly bursting into tears
looking at all the demise that he had caused. He had meant to escape, not to
kill. He walked in the maze of bones and steel finally finding the aircraft
carrier part of the base. He looked in one of the attack jets and saw a skeleton
in the cockpit. He threw the skeleton out and hopped inside the sleek fighter
jet.

Chapter
3…………………………………..………………………….Escape
Crom Ross started up the
engine, activated the stabilizers, and put on the flight suit then hit the
flight button and the plane burst to life zooming through the air smoothly but
rapidly through the air as he left the base. Crom looked down on the base and
saw that apparently the base had been on a small remote island. He saw a boat
sailing off to Camelot. Crom decided that the huge aircraft carrier is too large
with too much firepower for Crom in his small jet but he could follow it. Crom
gently went into one of the huge clouds low enough so he could see the carrier.
He followed
the aircraft carrier for hours upon hours. A couple times he thought that maybe
he was just dreaming but continued to try and keep his confidence up. After
hours of following he saw land and nearly jumped out of his seat in excitement
for he could see a huge castle. He hit the speed boost on the jet and speed
ahead of the carrier still hidden in the clouds. He landed on the island in
minutes just outside the castle in a grove of trees in order to hide the ship
and jumped out of the jet onto the fertile, spongy, soil below him.
“Huh, I
didn’t think that Camelot was this…uh…Mushy.” Crom said to himself.
He ran towards the gates and
tried knocking knowing that everyone who had lived here had died many years ago.
He tried pounding his fists against the door. He looked around the castle to see
if there was another way in. If he blasted the door with the rockets, they would
know he was here easily and would outnumber and recapture him. Crom thought
about what to do but he just didn’t have the foggiest idea.
Chapter
4………………………………………………………a secret entrance
Crom walked to one of the
walls that seemed unusual and to stand out. When he got there and touched part
of the wall that brick slide and a lock clicked on the inside of the castle. ‘Of
course!’ Crom thought to himself, ‘a secret passage. This is my ticket inside.’
He tried pushing several different bricks followed by the same sequence, three
pushes of a brick then a rumbling sound and then the bricks mysteriously sliding
back again. Crom Ross scolded at it he ran back to the plane and grabbed a lemon
from a tree and a lighter from the plane. He ran back to the wall and splattered
the lemon’s juice all over the section of the wall in a desperate hurry knowing
that every second Raven was getting closer, and closer. He then used the lighter
to make the lemon juice dry.
Crom Ross smiled in
satisfaction as weird letters formed all over the wall’s bricks in Arabic.
‘That’s strange.’ Crom
thought ‘I didn’t think that any Arabic people lived anywhere near here… huh….
Good thing I know Arabic, Spanish, and French as well as English.’ Crom thought
to himself smiling. The words on the bricks were
Hope
Fear
Sword
Faith
Love
King
Trickery
Door
Crom tried thinking of what those words could mean in a specific
order. He tried pressing each in a random order seeing if any of them would do
anything but time and time again failing each and every time. He smacked his
forehead as the answer hit him! This is a TRICK DOOR which requires someone with
the KING’s password in order to get through. He tried this combination and the
wall slide to the side reveling a secret tunnel littered with huge spider-webs
and tons of empty chest and rusty, blood covered swords. Crom carefully stepped
inside the tunnel and faster then you could say ‘opps’ he was thrown into the
air hanging by only a web dangling by his left foot with nothing than the rusty
sword he had grabbed to try to stay on the ground. He hacked wildly around the
pitch black spot he was now in trying to hit what was trying to eat him alive.
Chapter
5…………………………………………………………. arachnophobia
His eyes adjusted a little to
the darkness but suddenly wished he had stayed in the lab. For he saw two huge
midnight black hairy spiders with fangs as sharp as swords and legs as long as
trees. Crom’s heart rate was skyrocketing, his heart was about to leap out of
his chest. His heart only beat faster as the biggest one that was holding his
web crawled slowly as if to kill him by a heart attack and opened his massive
jaws as he started to chomp down on Crom’s skull. Crom wouldn’t let that happen
and his arm slashed across the spider’s closest leg and the spider’s chest
causing it to fell out of the web screaming in pain as several pints of black
blood oozed out of the spider’s injuries followed by a bloodcurdling scream. He
didn’t know if the slowness of his predators was mockery or just his adrenaline
but he didn’t care to find out! He cut his web just as the second spider leaped
at him and as he fell he threw his sword at the spider’s heart!
As Crom
fell to the ground so did the spider and they seemed to land on top of each
other…. With the spider on top. Crom shoved the spider off of him and limped
down farther down the tunnel with a new found arachnophobia. But suddenly a
hissing sound pounded his ear drums. He turned around to see the spider he had
originally ‘killed’ crawling at him despite the fact that he was bleeding
barrels of blood, missing a leg, and apparently had some skin tearing off.
“Oh crap……” Crom moaned as the spider leaped at him with its eyes
covered with blood.
