Mrs. Higdon's Wonderful World of Math

Course Pages:  These pages give class expectations, grading system, and supplies needed for each course.  Each page also includes a link to the homework calendar for that course.  Please check the date on the calendar to see if it has been updated since you last checked.  Occasionally, there are unforeseen circumstances which may alter the calendar, such as snow days, teacher absence, assemblies, etc  The calendar will be updated as soon as it is possible.

Be  Prepared

·       Be in assigned seat at the designated time and ready to start class.

·       Bring materials (pencil, paper, calculator & notebook) everyday.

Be  Respectful

·       Treat people and their property the way you would like to be treated.

·       Refrain from talking when someone else is talking.

·       Use appropriate language and tone.

·       Remain seated until dismissed by the teacher.

Be  Involved

·       Listen, pay attention and participate.

·       Be positive and ask questions.

·       Listen and follow directions.

·       Use class time wisely.—100% effort everyday.

Be  Dependable

·       Be present

·       Complete homework.

·       When absent complete make-up work.

       Be  Ethical

·       Do your own work.

·       Be honest and true to yourself.

·       Discipline yourself so no one else has to.

·       You always have a “choice” – make the right one.
