All homework assignments are sent home on Monday in the Home Folder and due on Friday. The weekly spelling words are sent home in the homework packet and written in the planner.  A spelling test will be given on Friday. The planner serves as the reading log. Students are required to read for 20 minutes Monday-Thursday evenings. Students should record the name of the book they read on their reading log.  The planner is the key communication tool between home and school. Please sign the planner daily.   

If your child is absent from school, the class work and homework they missed will be available when they return to school. If students are absent for several days, please contact your child's teacher/school so that arrangements can be made to pick up the work missed in the front office.  We don't want any child to fall behind academically due to absences.
