Mrs. Oldham's Class

Sight words	These are words your child should be able to recognize and read quickly. Practice these often!
Vocabulary	The gift of words is one of the most powerful things you can give young children today. The broader their vocabularies, the more questions they can ask, the more concepts they can ponder, the more ideas and dreams they can share (Elements of Reading, 2005).
Letters and Sounds	These are sounds at the beginning and ending of words.
Books	These are the books we read in class. Ask your child about the titles we are working on.
Websites	Some great links to support what we're doing at Liberty!
