Second  Grade class

                                 Second grade supply list    2009-10

§  3 boxes of 24 count crayons

.   1 white plastic 3 ring binder (2 inch-please get the one with the clear plastic cover)

    4 pocket folders-orange, green, red, and blue  

§  1 plastic yellow take home pocket folder

    1 pack of wide ruled notebook paper

    1 pencil pouch with clear cover (this will go in 3 ring binder - please make sure it has the binder holes in it --- this is for notes home, lunch money etc.)

§  1 clipboard (notebook size)

§  1 pencil box (basic-rectangular)

§  1 pair of scissors

§  4 large Elmer’s glue sticks

§  1 Elmer’s bottle of glue

§  5 one- subject spiral notebooks

§  1 pack of (fat) dry erase markers (4 pack)

§  3 packages of #2 pencils

    1 package of post-it sticky notes (standard square)

§  6 large pink erasers

§  1 roll of paper towels

§  2 boxes of Kleenex (rectangular boxes preferred)

§  1 pump bottle of hand sanitizer

§  Boys: 1 box gallon size Ziploc bags

§  Girls: 1 box quart size Ziploc bags

§  1 black Sharpie marker

§  Backpack (no wheels please)

    1 container of Clorox antibacterial disinfecting wipes

§  $4.00 to order Scholastic News Classroom Magazine for the year

Extra Items Needed for the Classroom:

§  Extra tissue/paper towels/hand sanitizer

    Box of Band-Aids

§  4 x 6 index cards

Please label your child’s scissors, pencil pouch, and pencil box.  All other supplies will be classroom community property.
