Teachers develop
lessons and units of study which integrate
technology into the curriculum in both the
classroom and the Computer Lab. This
includes: Powerpoint presentations, Kids Pix
projects, graphing with Graph Club and
Excel, Hyper-studio projects, Clay Animation
projects, Internet projects, spreadsheets in
Excel, word processing, Kidspiration
lessons, Inspiration lessons, Read and Write
Gold, United Streaming, Successmaker for
math skills and Accelerated Reader. All
students receive instruction in the Computer
Lab weekly kindergarten through the 5th
grade. Keyboarding is integrated into the
third, fourth, and fifth grade curriculum
using AlphaSmarts and the Success with
Keyboarding Curriculum. Our micro-computer
specialist serves as a resource for teachers
and students as well as providing technical
support. |
