All About Mrs. Caudill

What is your teaching philosophy?

I believe that all children can learn and that we all learn in different ways. I also think that education is a team effort between the child, the parent, and the teacher. I believe in creating a warm and welcoming classroom environment that children are excited to come to. I try to make my classroom as much like home as possible so that my Kindergarteners feel more comfortable during their first experiences away from home.

How long have you been teaching?

This is my 6th year teaching. I taught 5 years at Julia R. Ewan. I have taught both straight Kindergarten and multi-age K/1 classrooms. I team teach with Mrs. Stephens. Mrs. Stephens and I have been teaching together for 6 years.   

What is your favorite color?

I have two favorite colors, pink and green.

Do you have kids?

I am the proud momma of a beautiful daughter named Olivia Lillie who will be 18 months old in July and I am expecting another daughter who will be named Emma Kate on August 22nd of this year.

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is chicken and dumplings.

When is your birthday?

My birthday is on July 16th!!!

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to design web pages, play games on the computer, and do other computer type projects. I also enjoy reading a good mystery!!!! :) I enjoy being a teacher leader in our school and are very involved with our school.
