Updated:  May 16, 2007 - Happy Birthday to Josh Thompson!

Mark May 31 on your calendar as the fourth grade will travel to Fort Boonesborough for our end of the year celebration.  Information will be sent home today regarding this fun day.  Please sign the permission slip and complete the lunch form and return to school as soon as possible.  The cost for the trip to the fort along with the bus fee is $6.00.

It's coming soon........our mock visit to the beach for science.  Start to plan your outfit today for an ocean celebration as we complete our ocean unit.  We want the smell of coconut suntan lotion, flowered shirts and shorts, summery sandals and lots of fun for this fun culmination of Life at the Ocean.

Please emphasize the importance of phoning home/work only in an emergency situation.  We hate to disturb your work day and calling  from home room takes valuable time away from the school day that should be focused on academics. Please help us reenforce calling on emergency basis only.

Planners have been ordered to replace those who have lost or misplaced theirs.  The price, however, will be higher.  Several grade levels ordered at the first of the year to insure a lower student price.  A lesson is consumerism!!!!!  The bigger the order; the lower the price.  The smaller the order; the bigger the price. We will let you know when the planners arrive and the cost.

Part of Making Friday Fun is ordering ice cream from the Schwan's truck.  The cost is $1.00 and proceeds go to our school for worthy  causes.  Students may choose between a fudge bar and popsicle.  Treats are delivered to the room at 2:30, so treat your favorite student to ice cream this Friday.  We'll start collecting money on Wednesday of each week.  The next ice cream Friday will be:  May 18.
