About Me
Growing Up... I was born and raised in Mt. Vernon, Illinois
(southern Illinois). I attended Rome Grade School (K-8) and Mt. Vernon
Township High School.
College.... Bachelor's...I graduated
from the University of Evansville where I received my B.S. degree in
Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education (learning
disabilities and mildly mentally handicapped). While at UE, I attended
Harlaxton College (Grantham, England) for a semester, was an active
member of Alpha Omicron Pi and on the Ace-ette Dance team.
Master's... I graduated from Eastern Illinois
University where I received my M.S. degree in Elementary Education with
an emphasis in Reading and Early Childhood. While at EIU, I worked as an
Associate Resident Director in Greek Court Housing on campus.

Family.... I have a wonderful husband and one
spoiled cat, Bella.
