The members and parents of the Bryan Station High School Band would like to extend an invitation for you to participate in the Bluegrass Pageant of Bands. This is a KMEA sanctioned event and will be conducted in accordance with all KMEA rules, regulations and procedures.
We are committed to providing the finest adjudicators, facilities and hospitality possible. Please note that we are a PRELIMS AND FINALS format. Last year's event was quite successful, and we are eagerly anticipating another great day of music and pageantry.
ENTRY DEADLINE: September 7, 2004
FORMAT: PRELIMINARIES AND FINALS.
Finalist bands will be determined by the 1st place in each class and the next 2 (two) to 4 (four) highest scores regardless of class (Pending the number of entries).
CONTEST TIMES:
PRELIMS 1:00 P.M. (Approximate, pending the number of entries)
FINALS 7:00 P.M. (Approximate, pending the number of entries)
AWARDS:
PRELIMS: 1ST, 2ND, 3RD, Best Percussion, Best Auxiliary in each class.
FINALS: Grand Champion, Reserve Grand Champion, 3rd through 8th place, Best Music, Best Visual, Best Music Effect, Best Visual Effect.
