Homework Policy

ü Homework will be given 3-4 nights a week, as needed, to support what we are doing in the classroom. 

ü Homework will be due back the following school day.

ü  Students who do not turn in completed homework assignments will pull a ticket. 

ü Reading logs will not be required this year; however, every child is expected to read each night. 

ü First graders have a yearly A.R. goal of 25-50 points.

ü   Second graders have a yearly A.R. goal of 50-75 points.

ü  Reading teachers will work with individual students to establish an appropriate individual A.R. goal. 

Good Faith Effort

ü Students who meet homework, class work, A.R., and behavioral expectations will be rewarded every Friday.
